Python while loops repeat work while a condition remains true. They are useful when the current situation determines whether another step is needed.

A packing task continues until enough items are ready. Thinking about what changes and when the work should stop gives the repetition a clear purpose.
Some repetition depends on a changing situation
A while loop continues while a condition remains true. Its purpose is different from visiting every item in a known collection. A process may need to keep going until a task is complete, without knowing the number of repetitions beforehand.
The condition has to reflect something that can change if the process is meant to finish. Repetition and progress are different: doing the same work again does not itself mean the stopping condition is getting closer. This distinction helps explain why some programs appear to keep running.
