Shopping List App Project Idea
A shopping list app keeps track of what to buy, how much is needed, and what is already in the basket. It gives a basic list a specific purpose, with quantities and purchased items rather than general tasks.

Imagine a list containing two cartons of milk, apples, and a loaf of bread. As products go into the basket, the useful question changes from what was planned to what is still missing.
A product name does not describe the whole item
The quantity and purchased status carry different information from the name. A collection of these records connects familiar shopping decisions to data and state; sharing between people would be an additional capability.
An item has more information than its name
A shopping list can include quantities, categories, and purchase state. Marking milk as bought and changing the quantity of milk express different changes. Keeping those meanings distinct makes the list easier to understand as it evolves.
A shared list introduces another question: whether several people are looking at the same current record. A local personal list and a synchronised household list may look similar but involve different expectations about saved information and updates.
